After 40 years as Contract Office Group, we are now Cog. Our new name represents our new organization and our culture of Creativity, Operations and Gratitude.
Established in 1976, Cog began by selling, storing, refurbishing and installing new and used furniture in the Bay Area. With a legacy of providing excellent customer service and powered workstations to the Silicon Valley’s rapidly growing semiconductor companies, Cog grew to become one of the Bay Area’s largest contract furniture dealers and one of Haworth’s top ten Preferred dealers in North America.
Under new leadership since January 2016, Cog is committed to adapting our organization to best serve our clients. Davyd Funk acquired Cog with a vision to transform the operations of the organization. Davyd balances a strong passion for design with a proven record of leading business operational success.
Our entire executive team is committed to leading Cog in our mission of serving our customers to enable their community, culture and organization to thrive. Some of these team members have been with Cog for a long time, shepherding our organization in its long legacy of success; others are new to Cog bringing their unique vision, expertise and passion to build our business into the future.
