Architectural Interiors Project Manager

This position directs the activities of a modular interior architecture project team whose work includes modular furniture design, and the design and installation of walls, doors, raised flooring and lighting.

In addition to directing and overseeing the design, drafting, installation and follow up activities through the schematic phase, development phase and construction phase of a project; the qualified individual must work collaboratively with sales, account coordination, design, accounting, installation and warehouse personnel to achieve quality, cost and schedule parameters of all assigned projects.

They must also ensure that projects are handled in accordance with company operating policies and architectural principles and the following:

Each design project maintains structural and aesthetic integrity, according to design specifications.

Researching materials and products used in building design and preparation of contructions plans.

Preparation of unified designs incorporating functional and spatial requirements and specfications and visual presentation based on the preferences of the client.

Key Job Requirements

• Position requires 4 years experience as Architectural Project Manager
• Knowledge of architectural design as applied to modular interiorarchitecture and the intgration of adaptable interiors.
• Systems furniture code requirements and applicable construction law.
• critical path scheduling.
• cabling requirements and capabilities.
• Familiarity of the CSI (Construction Specification Institute) formatted materials.
• Proficient in AutoCAD, CAP & Design Express.
